The short version: we collect what the review needs, and nothing else.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Who we are
The service is operated by Premium European Relocation Service AG (Switzerland), reachable at contact@italyforretirees.com. Publishable postal address: Ueberlandstrasse 101, Duebendorf, Switzerland.
What we collect
- Contact details — name and email, to schedule your session and deliver your recap or separately ordered plan; an optional phone number for scheduling.
- Newsletter subscription — signup is currently closed. If enabled later, subscription will use a separate email confirmation before updates are sent.
- Intake questionnaire answers — household and timeline, income motivation, citizenship, current country of residence, income estimates, coverage categories and topics to discuss, target towns, housing intentions, services sought, logistics such as pets, and your call questions and availability. We do not ask for diagnoses, conditions, medications, or other health details.
- Session notes — what we record to prepare your short written recap, or a full plan if you order it separately.
What we do with it
- Prepare and deliver your Feasibility Review (performing our contract with you).
- Answer your messages and handle scheduling, payment, and refunds.
Please do not volunteer sensitive personal or health information in questionnaire, logistics, booking-email, or other free-text fields.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data, and we take no commissions from insurers, agents, or lawyers we mention.
- We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
- No online payment or card collection is enabled on this site.
Storage, sharing, and retention
The moving questionnaire keeps answers only in page memory, with no automatic upload or browser storage. Refreshing or leaving the page clears them. Opening an email draft does not submit them; when you choose to send, your email provider handles the message and we receive your answers in our service inbox.
The privacy panel stores your analytics and advertising-measurement choices in your browser for 180 days under the key ifr_consent_v1. Both optional categories default to off. Missing, expired, corrupt, or unavailable storage keeps them off. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change or withdraw either choice. No analytics or advertising provider is currently connected, so accepting optional purposes currently sends no optional requests.
The visa check fetches daily exchange-rate reference data from frankfurter.app (a keyless service publishing ECB rates). That request comes from your browser and carries none of your answers or personal details — like any web request, the rate provider sees a plain connection. The last fetched rates are kept in your own browser's storage so the check keeps working if the service is unreachable.
Your information lives in our email and questionnaire tools and is shared only with the processors needed to run the service. If the monthly update is enabled, Buttondown will process the subscriber email through its hosted validation, CAPTCHA, and double-opt-in flow. We keep review records for up to 24 months in case you return for a follow-up, then delete them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe — one click, in every email — and deleted after. You can ask for earlier deletion of anything at any time.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by emailing contact@italyforretirees.com. We answer within 2 business days. If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
